The Science is ready

21 April 2017

It was a great pleasure for us at Hi-Pix to support the Parkinsons UK Society at the Royal Albert Hall this month. A fantastic evening was had by all as we watched performances by Pete Townsend, Katie Melua, Jason Manford and many others. Research into Parkinsons has been slow, and sufferers are still taking the same drugs developed in the 60’s…before the first moon landing! Technology and pharmanceutical research has come so far in the years since, and yet there haven’t been the developments to treat Parkinsons, and the reason for this is as simple as money available.
If you want to know more here is a useful link https://www.parkinsons.org.uk, or ask me one day and I may also tell you how we ended up at the ‘After Show Party’ in the Royal Albert Hall Back Stage bar!
